(ICT) PRACTICE GROUP
The ICT Practice Group is a consulting practice
within JPJ with specific experience in all phases of the telecommunications
industry. The professionals within the group offer industry clients
a robust array of consulting services ranging from technology deployment
to financial management, marketing and customer service. The ICT
Group's areas of expertise include technology deployment, regulatory
and economic policy, project management, customer service, corporate
development and strategic planning. The JPJ Telecommunications Group
offers clients access to a team of seasoned and highly skilled industry
professionals.
The ICT Group also offers clients access
to a variety of regulatory and transactional legal services, including
negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts, memoranda of understanding,
legislation, regulations, and regulatory policies; litigation support;
facilitating business development for regulated businesses and for
businesses that are affected by regulation; developing regulatory
strategy and external affairs policies and programs; and managing
regulatory crises.
Members of the ICT Group include former regulators
and corporate counsel; financial, technology and operational experts;
executives with operations experience, and attorney's who have provided
outside counsel for some of the United States' largest telecommunications
companies. ICT Group members have over 100 years of experience in
shaping and implementing regulatory policy, both at the state and
federal levels within the United States and in other countries.
ENERGY PRACTICE GROUP
Within the energy practice, the JPJ Group
will leverage the experience and skills of the firm's members, consortium
partners and its strategic partners. The energy group's core competencies
include the development and implementation of regulatory frameworks,
electric and natural gas restructuring/deregulation, energy privatization,
and the development of alternative energy generation projects, and
regulatory capacity building.
