Regulatory and Economic Policy Development

• Represented a major multinational telecommunications company in one of the first unbundling and interconnection proceedings in the US.

• Negotiated network interconnection agreements between incumbent local exchange carriers and competitive local exchange carriers.

• Represented competitive local exchange carriers (including a multi-national telecommunications company) and other data service providers in unbundling and costing proceedings before state utility regulators.

• Assisted in the development of regional telecom policy and regulatory models for SADC. Participated in regional workshops designed to promote knowledge transfer and develop subject matter expertise among regulators within the region.  Back
