Privatization

• Assisted with due diligence and strategic planning for prospective privatization of an African telecom provider

• Assisted the Government of Montenegro in the drafting of rules and regulations for privatization of the telecommunications and energy sectors

• Assisted the Government of the Republic of Georgia with telecom modernization and privatization

• Provided technical and consulting assistance to the Mid-Siberia Privatization Center (a jointly-funded USAID-EBRD project), whose mission was to assist large, state-owned Russian industrial enterprises in the transition to private enterprise by rationalizing their operations, developing marketing efforts and joint ventures abroad, and responding to extensive environmental problems.

• Developed and communicated a 5-Year Strategic Plan to potential investors and their investment banking representatives to raise over $2.0 billion in equity and debt for a US telecom carrier     Back
