direction as a mid-sized integrated communications provider providing
Frame Relay, ATM, IP and Voice Services to mid-size business in
stand-alone and shared tenant environments. Achieved corporate alignment
and BOD approval around 5-Year Strategy and implemented the plan
throughout the organization.
Coordinated, researched and analyzed potential synergies with merger
and acquisition candidates, as they relate to product portfolio,
network strategy, operational support systems, and human resources.
Performed due diligence, business valuations, modeling and other
mergers and acquisitions research & analysis for several acquisitions
including an internet and web hosting company
Created access costing optimization model for determining the most
economical method for voice, Internet and frame relay/ATM end users
to access a company's fiber infrastructure. Included the costing
of access methods, technologies and regulatory requirements for
FCC tariffed special access, collocated facilities, DSL, Unbundled
Network Elements, Enhanced Extended Loops, and build out of fiber
facilities
Performed numerous economic feasibility studies on various technology
architectures including but not limited to IP PBX solutions in a
shared tenant environment, soft switching technology as compared
to current class 5 switching technology for voice and internet services,
physical vs. virtual collocation strategies, etc. Back
